Greek God Dwelling Diorama
Step into the world of Greek mythology in this imaginative, hands-on art and history class. Students will transform a blank wooden craft house into realms of famous Greek gods and goddesses—such as Mount Olympus, the Underworld, and the sea palace of Poseidon. Using a variety of craft materials, students practice planning, construction, and creative problem-solving as they bring mythological settings to life. Along the way, they explore key myths, symbols, and stories connected to each deity. This class blends mythology, art, and storytelling for a fun and immersive learning experience.

Boomwhackers and Bells Band with Billie Jo
This fun and energetic percussion music class is designed to introduce students to the exciting world of rhythm and beats! Students will use various percussion instruments including a boomwhacker ensemble and bell ensemble. Music skills will be developed through interactive games, creative exercises, and collaborative group playing. The ensemble will perform at least 2 songs on the last day of class.

Stitching by the Numbers: Math Through Creation--Capes with Grace and Krista
This hands-on sewing class, students explore core math concepts through a creative textile project. By measuring fabric, calculating seam allowances, reading patterns, and scaling designs, learners apply fractions, decimals, ratios, geometry, and basic algebra in a practical, engaging way. Projects emphasize accuracy, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning as students translate two-dimensional patterns into three-dimensional objects. No prior sewing experience is required. Students build skills progressively while discovering how math is an essential tool in design, construction, and everyday life. This class is ideal for learners who benefit from visual and tactile approaches to mathematics.
