Miss Piedad
Teaches on Fridays.
I taught anatomy, biology, and general
science in public schools, as well as art and medical science classes for Upward Bound.
I love teaching. I always knew I would homeschool, but I didn’t anticipate how deeply early childhood education and parent community would shape my life as a parent and homeschooler. During my earliest years as a
mom, I operated Morgantown
Parents’ Place and created
Spruce St Playgroup. Those
experiences shaped my view of
homeschooling as a “village” approach to education—one rooted in connection, shared support, and community. The Homeschool Hub embodies that vision, and I’m so happy to be here.
