Miss Rachel R.Instructor Rachel Roach spent the first seven years of her career teaching upper elementary in traditional education and the next years in parenting and home education. Her children Eleanor (8), Jasper (6), and Jude (3), are her daily inspiration for unlearning and relearning educational philosophy and practice. Rachel looks forwards to bringing her experience, curiosity, and creativity to her classes at the hub. Miss PiedadInstructor I taught anatomy, biology, and general science in public schools, as well as art and medical science classes for Upward Bound. I love teaching. I always knew I would homeschool, but I didn’t anticipate how deeply early childhood education and parent community would shape my life as a parent and homeschooler. During my earliest years as a mom, I operated Morgantown Parents’ Place and created Spruce St Playgroup. Those experiences shaped my view of homeschooling as a “village” approach to education—one rooted in connection, shared support, and community. The Homeschool Hub embodies that vision, and I’m so happy to be here. Miss AndreaInstructor Andrea Watkins is a former elementary teacher and homeschooling mom to three boys—Evan (17), Ayden (9), and Enzo (6). After teaching in the classroom, she decided to homeschool her two youngest children and has loved being part of the homeschool community ever since. Andrea enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and making memories with family and friends. She is passionate about health and wellness and is excited to help students learn how healthy choices can support their growing bodies and minds.
