This choir class, designed for students 10 and up, provides an introduction to vocal music performance. The focus will be on developing healthy vocal techniques, musical literacy, and ensemble performance skills. This class will complete and perform at least 2 songs.

Greek God Dwelling Diorama with Miss Grace
Step into the world of Greek mythology in this imaginative, hands-on art and history class. Students will transform a blank wooden craft house into realms of famous Greek gods and goddesses—such as Mount Olympus, the Underworld, and the sea palace of Poseidon. Using a variety of craft materials, students practice planning, construction, and creative problem-solving as they bring mythological settings to life. Along the way, they explore key myths, symbols, and stories connected to each deity. This class blends mythology, art, and storytelling for a fun and immersive learning experience.

Students will transform a blank wooden craft house into realms of famous Greek gods and goddesses—such as Mount Olympus, the Underworld, and the sea palace of Poseidon. Using a variety of craft materials, students practice planning, construction, and creative problem-solving as they bring mythological settings to life. Stitching by the Numbers: Math Through Creation--Capes with Grace and Krista
This hands-on sewing class, students explore core math concepts through a creative textile project. By measuring fabric, calculating seam allowances, reading patterns, and scaling designs, learners apply fractions, decimals, ratios, geometry, and basic algebra in a practical, engaging way. Projects emphasize accuracy, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning as students translate two-dimensional patterns into three-dimensional objects. No prior sewing experience is required. Students build skills progressively while discovering how math is an essential tool in design, construction, and everyday life. This class is ideal for learners who benefit from visual and tactile approaches to mathematics.
2:30pm in the classroom
LEGO Challenge with Krista
Each week students will have time to work on a STEM challenge, think balloon cars and zip lines! At the end of the class they will have the opportunity (optional) to demonstrate their creation to the class to help gain confidence in public speaking.
